The tornado was on the ground from approximately 955 AM CST (1555Z) until 1007 AM CST (1607Z).

Storm Relative Velocity Image taken from the Maxwell WSR-88D when the tornado was on the ground. At this time, the tornado was just southwest of Pintlala. The radar is located just off the picture to the top right. The green colors indicate reflectors moving toward the radar and red colors indicate reflectors moving away from the radar. The parent thunderstorm exhibited very strong rotation in the lower levels.
