The tornado touched down just north of Addison along County Road (CR) 41 just north of Hunter Road. Winds between 70 and 80 mph snapped softwood trees here. The tornado tracked east-northeast and destoyed a small airplane hanger at the Addison Municipal Airport. As it tracked parallel to CR 14, it continued to snap tree trunks and removed part of a roof from a residence just past CR 130. Portions of a metal roof were uplifted from an outbuilding along CR 3725, and caused minor tree damage. The tornado continued east-northeast, crossed into Cullman County (WFO Huntsville) just south of CR 1043 where it caused minor tree damage and destroyed a barn on CR 1038. The tornado strenghtened to an EF1 with winds of 90 mph and destroyed a mobile home along CR 1043 just east of CR 1038. The tornado continued east-northeast, lifting near CR 1047.
