Environment
Very high levels of moisture were being brought into central Indiana, with precipitable water values of over 2 inches across southern portions of central Indiana. This moisture interacted with a cold front to bring thunderstorms with heavy rain. Thunderstorms redeveloped and moved across the same areas, which lead to flash flooding.
