Indianapolis NWR Broadcast Resumes and Being Monitored for Stability

The broadcast from NOAA Weather Radio-All Hazards station KEC-74 from Indianapolis resumed this afternoon, September 6, after a prolonged outage.  The length of the outage was a result of multiple issues with telephone companies, including hours of service and priorities. Other than a brief return to service on Friday, the outage had been ongoing since the evening of Friday, August 26.

The broadcast is being monitored for stability before officially designating the issue resolved.  If you hear disruptions to the broadcast or from any of our other transmitters please let us know by either sending an e-mail to w-ind.webmaster@noaa.gov or referring to the contact information at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/outages/report.php.
