...TEMPORARY CHANGE TO SPRINGFIELD NOAA WEATHER RADIO COVERAGE
AREA...

Due to the ongoing outage of NOAA Weather Radio station WXJ-76 in
Champaign, a temporary adjustment is being made to the coverage
area for station WXJ-75 in Springfield (162.400 MHz). Champaign and
Piatt Counties will have watches and warnings broadcast on
WXJ-75. This is being done to aid distribution over the Emergency
Alert System, using the access point at radio station WSOY-FM in
Decatur. The changes will be reverted once WXJ-76 is back on the
air; no estimated date is available at this time.

The current coverage area for WXJ-75 is as follows:
