Details:

  1.  5/14/1961:  This tornado touched down 3 miles north of Eureka (Woodford County), and moved northeast 20 miles to Wenona.  Damage was minor.
  2.  4/24/1965:  This tornado was on the ground for 7 miles, touching down just east of Camp Grove and moving northeast to near Whitefield.  Four empty railroad cars, each weighing about 24 tons, were blown over; the next 8 cars on the train remained upright, with the following 5 also blown over.  Nearly all farms along the path had major damage.
  3.  7/23/1967:  This tornado touched down just east of Castleton in Stark County, and moved southeast into western Marshall County. 
  4.  7/17/1972:  While this particular tornado was on the ground for 15 miles, the overall system produced several intermittent tornado touchdowns all the way to Joliet, 90 miles northeast.  This tornado touched the ground near Camp Grove, and traveled to just north of Henry. 
  5.  7/6/1975:  Touched down 4 miles east of Camp Grove, damaging 2 corn fields, but missing any outbuildings.
  6.  4/9/2001:  Touched down in an open field 7 miles east-southeast of Camp Grove, lasting for 5 minutes.
  7.  4/20/2004:  Moved in from Stark County, near Camp Grove.  It destroyed a shed and pole barn, causing $250,000 damage to farm equipment inside.  The tornado was on the ground for 8 miles, lifting in Bureau county near Whitefield.
  8.  5/7/2004:  Brief touchdown in Henry, damaging the roof of a storage building.
  9.  6/5/2010:  This tornado touched down 3.8 miles north-northwest of Wenona, blowing down several trees and power lines before moving into LaSalle County.
  10. 9/1/2012:  This tornado was one of two that occurred in Marshall County as a result of the remnants of Hurricane Isaac.  It originally touched down in Woodford County, then moved northwest before dissipating in far southeast Marshall County 0.8 miles east-southeast of Pattonsburg.  No damage was reported in Marshall County.
  11. 9/1/2012:  The second of two tornadoes in Marshall County on this date, it briefly touched down on the Illinois River about 1.6 miles south-southeast of Hopewell.
