 Details:

  1. 12/18/1957:  This tornado touched down in Wayne County near Orchardville, then moved northeast into Clay County, passing near Clay City.  It was on the ground for 8 miles.
  2. 5/6/1960:  Touched down near Flora, was on the ground for 1 mile.
  3. 3/6/1961:  This tornado touched down in Flora, then moved east-northeast through Clay City before crossing into Richland County.
  4. 6/8/1974:  Brief touchdown near Flora.
  5. 6/2/1990:  This tornado touched down in northern Wayne County near Rinard, then moved northeast across the southeast corner of Clay County, before continuing into Richland County.  Two mobile homes were destroyed about 4 miles south of Clay City.
  6. 4/19/1996:  This tornado touched down in Marion County, then moved into Clay County northwest of Xenia. 
  7. 4/15/1998:  The first of two tornadoes touched down 3 miles west-southwest of Flora.  It blew 60-70 railroad cars off the tracks in Flora.  Significant damage occurred in Flora, mainly south of the railroad tracks.  The tornado lifted 2 miles west-northwest of Clay City.
  8. 4/15/1998:  The second of two tornadoes touched down just north of where the first one ended.  It destroyed a mobile home before moving into Richland County.
  9. 6/14/1998:  Brief touchdown 4 miles northeast of Flora, causing no damage.
  10. 4/27/2002:  Touched down 2 miles southwest of Flora, and traveled 5 miles before lifting 3 miles southeast of Flora.  Five people were injured, 3 in a mobile home and 2 in a car.
  11. 5/8/2003:  Brief touchdown 2 miles south-southeast of Oskaloosa, causing no damage.
  12. 5/30/2004:  Brief touchdown on the south side of Flora, causing minor damage to a few buildings.
  13. 5/30/2004:  Brief touchdown in Clay City.
  14. 3/8/2009:  This tornado touched down in Wayne County, then moved northeast into extreme southeast Clay County before lifting soon after.  One home had minor damage in Clay County.
  15. 5/25/2011:  Touched down just southwest of Clay City and dissipated near the high school.  Several garages and 15 homes were damaged.
  16. 5/23/2019:  Brief touchdown in an open field 3.3 miles west-southwest of Xenia, causing no damage. 
  17. 5/27/2021:  Brief touchdown in an open field about 3 miles east-southeast of Louisville, causing no damage.
  18. 5/27/2021:  Touched down 1.8 miles southeast of Sailor Springs, moving southeast. A few trees were knocked down, and minor damage occurred to a barn.
