A winter weather advisory is in effect for Central Illinois and portions of southeast Illinois for snow from 4 am Sunday morning to 6 pm Sunday Afternoon. Three to six inches of snow will be possible for Galesburg, Peoria, Bloomington, Champaign, and Danville. Lesser amounts can be expected south of this area with 2 to 4 inches possible down to Jacksonville, Springfield, Decatur, and Mattoon.
If you will be traveling across the region today, slow down and leave plenty of time to reach your destination.
