September 2021 Precipitation Highlights:

September was a dry month over much of central IL, except wetter than normal conditions were along and north of I-70 and south of I-72. Areas north of I-72 were generally 1 to 2 inches below normal for rainfall. Peoria only had 1.09 inches of rain during the month making it their 13th driest September. Tuscola was a wet spot with 6.23 inches having twice their normal rainfall during the month.
