November 2021 Precipitation Highlights:

  • November was much drier across central and southeast IL with 0.5 to 1.5" inches of rainfall observed. This is 1.5 to 2.5" below normal for the month of November. Because of this, no precipitation records were tied or broken. A few days of snow occurred at our climate sites in Peoria, Springfield, and Lincoln with trace amounts reported each day. Snowfall during November was 0.5 to 1.5 inches below normal.

November 2021 Temperature Highlights:

  • Temperatures across central Illinois were about 1 to 2 degrees cooler than normal, though parts of southeast Illinois came in at 2 degrees warmer than normal for the month. No temperature records were tied or broken in the month of November.
