Summary

May: Rainfall was generally below normal.  The only significant area of above normal rainfall occurred over McLean county. The highest rainfall deficits were recorded south of I-70, from Newton south to Olney.  Temperatures for the month were 1-3 degrees below normal.

Spring season (March through May): Rainfall ranged from below normal northwest of I-55, to above normal for many locations southeast of I-55.  Areas south of I-70 saw mostly below normal rainfall for the season.  Temperatures were a few degrees above normal across the area.
