July Climate Summary - Key Points

  • Rainfall was well above normal for most of central and southeast IL
    • Springfield recorded 2nd wettest July (9.51") while Lincoln had 7th wettest (8.69")
  • Wet conditions alleviated abnormally dry to moderate drought which developed during May/June in western IL
     
  • Temperatures were near normal across the entire region
