...NWS Damage Survey Summary for 10/11/2021 Tornado Event...

A fast moving squall line of storms pushed across central Illinois
Monday afternoon into evening. Several brief tornadoes developed along
the squall line.

.Alexander Tornado...

The tornado touched down in an open field about a half mile
northwest of Alexander. It proceeded northeast toward Highway 72,
damaging some large trees. It crossed Highway 72 near mile marker
76, where it blew over a semi-truck. It continued moving northeast
damaging several large trees in the path before it dissipated about
2 miles north of Alexander near Highway 123.

The tornado briefly touched down in an open field about 3 miles
north of Roanoke. It proceeded northeast about three tenths of a
mile before dissipating without causing any damage.

The tornado touched down 3.4 miles ESE of Washburn along County
Highway 2100 N and damaged the roof and walls of a barn and a couple
large trees, throwing the debris into a corn field to the northeast.
The tornado continued moving to the northeast through open fields,
eventually damaging another outbuilding along County Highway 2300 N.
The tornado dissipated shortly after causing that damage.

The tornado touched down in an open field about 2 miles
southwest of El Paso. Spotters viewed the tornado moving
north-northeast before it became shrouded in rain as it passed
across Hwy 24 just west of El Paso. The tornado did not cause any
apparent damage before it dissipated in an open field about 1.5
miles to the WNW of El Paso.
