Severe Weather and Tornadoes A semi-cohesive line of storms that initially formed over parts of Illinois and Indiana early in the afternoon progressed east into east-central Indiana and west-central Ohio by the evening hours. Bowing segments within the line allowed for some strong wind gusts to make it down to the surface. Circulations developed along the segment of the line that moved through Preble and Montgomery counties, with three tornadoes confirmed.
