The application process is simple!
1. Review the Guidelines, making sure that all of the requirements are feasible for your school or school district.
2. Contact the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Wilmington, NC either by email or phone and let us know of your interest in making your school or school district StormReady.
3. Fill out the appropriate application on the Resource page.
4. Mail the application to:

NOTE: The Spotter Training (requirement #5) course is also available on the Resource page.
StormReady schools/districts will be presented with a certificate and also a sign for outdoor display. The sign will demonstrate to the community the school's dedication to the safety of the children.
