A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for Sunday night into Monday and Monday night into Tuesday as temperatures plummet to dangerous levels. Wind chills will fall to the -5 to 5 degree range between midnight and noon Monday and Tuesday. Any water left on area roadways will freeze.
Dangerous wind chill temperatures early this week as cold weather moves into the TN Valley. Make sure to practice cold weather safety by: limiting time outdoors, bringing pets inside, dressing in warm layers, checking on family and neighbors, keeping space heaters at least 3 ft away from everything, and dripping pipes to prevent freezing.
