Low temperatures and precipitation chances for tonight.
High temperatures and precipitation chances for tomorrow.
Sweater weather is in store as highs early this week are forecast to be in the upper 40s/lower 50s Sunday before dropping to the 40s Monday and Tuesday. Overnight lows are forecast to be below freezing, dropping into the teens to 20s. Dress in warm layers, check on friends/family/neighbors, and bring pets indoors! Be sure to also heat your home SAFELY! Keep anything flammable at least three feet away from a fireplace, wood stove, or space heater. If using a space heater, plug it directly into a wall rather than using an extension cord or power strip!
Below freezing overnight low temperatures are forecast through the mid-week. Are you prepared? Be sure to protect the 4 P's: People, Pets, Pipes, and Plants! Protect people through minimizing time outdoors, preparing for power outages, and checking on elderly & other vulnerable people to make sure they're ok. Protect pets by keeping them warm, dry, and indoors as much as possible. Ensure their food and water does not freeze and limit their time outside. Protect pipes by insulating them if possible and opening up sink cabinets to expose pipes to heated air. Disconnect hoses and turn off water to sprinklers. Protect plants by knowing their temperature thresholds and covering them up before the cold weather sets in to help retain heat.
