Winter Weather Across Portions of the Mid-Atlantic; Heavy Rain Along the Gulf Coast and Southeast

A storm system will continue to slowly move through the Gulf Coast and Southeast U.S. over the next couple of days, bringing a heavy rainfall threat through the weekend. Isolated instances of flooding may occur. On the north side of this storm system, colder air will support areas of mixed wintry precipitation and light snow from the Tennessee Valley to the Mid-Atlantic Friday. Read More >

A large tree was blown down onto this yard.
 
Several large branches were blown down on this lawn and house further east.
 
The roof of this Fire Station was torn off and incurred additional significant damage.
 
This large tree was blown down near these residences.
 
This mobile home was totally destroyed. 
 
This small home was heavily damaged.

 

Madison County Tornado Damage 

 
A storage shed was totally destroyed near Borderline Road.
 
This chickenhouse was flattened by the tornado.
 
This shed was totally demolished at this residence.
 
This barn was also demolished near Borderline Road.
