Cold Front Moving Through the Northeast U.S. Monday; Atmospheric River to Impact the Pacific Northwest Midweek

A cold front will cross the Great Lakes and Northeast U.S. through Monday with gusty winds and areas of rain showers. A strong atmospheric river is expected to move into the Pacific Northwest by midweek bringing a threat for moderate to heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and mountain snows for parts of Washington, Oregon, northern California, and the Sierra Nevada. Fisher Crossroads / Pumpkin Center (F0) [Back to April 7 Home ]

A brief F0 tornado touched down not far from the Little River Wildlife Management Area near the Pumpkin Center community. A mobile home in this area had its windows knocked out and its siding torn off. There were also several trees knocked down at the roots. Maximum estimated speeds were 70 mph, with a path length of 100 yards and path width of 85 yards.
