A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for north Alabama and southern middle Tennessee from 12 am (Midnight tonight) to 12 pm (Noon) on Monday. Apparent temperatures (Wind Chills) of -5° to 5° are forecast during this time.
Bitterly cold weather is forecast Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures will dip into the teens for lows, with a few locations as low as 8 degrees Tuesday night. Overnight and early morning wind chills will drop even lower, as low as -3 in some areas. Temperatures will begin to moderate by mid to late week with daytime temperatures rising above freezing.
