Unsettled weather returns to the Tennessee Valley through the upcoming weekend, as a series of systems impact the region. As these systems traverse the area, they will bring chances of showers and thunderstorms to the area. Unseasonably mild conditions are expected for the Thursday through Saturday time frame, with highs in the 60s and 70s. A stronger cold front moving across the area Saturday night will bring cooler, more seasonable conditions early next week.
A storm system passing through the Deep South next week may bring multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall to the Tennessee Valley region, bringing an increased risk of localized flooding.
