Note:  This page only contains information from January 1997 thru December 2023.

If needing information prior to 1997 or after 2023, please search the
NCEI Storm Event database.

The National Centers for Environmental Information, or NCEI, has a webpage where you can search for storm events by state, county, event type/size, number of injuries/fatalities and/or amount of property/crop damage. This database (as of 6/5/24) contains severe weather reports from 1/1/50 thru 2/29/24. Search the NCEI Storm Event database to find various types of storms recorded in your county or use other selection criteria as desired.

Below is a list of severe weather reports (by month) for Southeast Texas. These reports should not be regarded as "official" or as the last word in what actually happened. For those needing court certified severe weather documentation, please contact the NCEI, located in Asheville, NC.
