December and Winter Outlook
Based on the Climate Prediction Center’s outlook for November, all of north and central Georgia has a 40% to 50% chance of above normal temperatures. Much of northern Georgia has about a 40% to 50% of above normal precipitation, with a 50% to 60% chance of seeing above normal precipitation.
Based on the Climate Prediction Center’s fall outlook (Dec-Feb), there are equal chances for above, below, or near normal temperatures across both North and Central Georgia. Much of northern Georgia has about a 33% to 40% chance for above normal precipitation, with a 40% to 50% chance for above normal precipitation across central Georgia.
