Areas as far south as Newnan saw snow, although accumulations across the metro area were not measurable. February 15th: A few strong storms produced quarter sized hail in southeast Georgia. Based on the Climate Prediction Center's outlook for March, all of north and central Georgia has a 40% to 50% chance for above normal temperatures. For precipitation, far northern Georgia has a 20% to 40% chance of above normal precipitation. Central Georgia has a 20% to 40% chance of below normal precipitation.
