A short-lived tornado touched down just south of I-16 near Exit 24 and tracked north for a couple of miles just before reaching the KJGX (Warner Robins) DOD/NWS 88-D Radar.  Several boats outside of an Academy Sports warehouse were flipped over, along with the retail warehouse building sustaining minor roof damage as pieces of tin were thrown into a nearby fence along Missile Base Road. One side of a wall to a small pump-station near a well also collapsed. Additional trees were reported down along Prospect Church Road and Highway 96, just before the tornado lifted. Maximum winds were were estimated at around 80 MPH based on the damage. There was also a Tornado Debris Signature (TDS) noted given this location's proximity to the KJGX 88-D radar.
