January Outlook
Based on the Climate Prediction Center’s January outlook, all of north and central Georgia has equal chances of above, normal, or below normal temperatures. For precipitation, much of north and central Georgia have a 40-50% chance of above average precipitation.
January Drought Outlook
Based on the U.S. Monthly Drought Outlook for January, no drought conditions are expected across north and central Georgia. With no drought across the area, the last Drought Information Statement was released on December 19th, 2019.
