Strong to severe storms developed during the afternoon and evening hours on Sunday over eastern Iowa and northeast Missouri. These storms produced damaging winds with speeds between 60 to 70 mph at times and small hail. Numerous tree damage reports and damaged buildings were reported with these storms. A storm survey team determined a tornado track from south of Hedrick northeast to 4 miles west/southwest of Cosgrove.
