A series of winter storms will impact the Midwest to Mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S. into next week with locally heavy rain, and a combination of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. April ended up very wet across much of western Kansas! At the Dodge City airport the 8.08" observed not only set a new record, it smashed the previous record of 6.26" set in 1976.
Amounts reported by CoCoRaHS observers were well in excess of six inches at many locations!
