A tornado briefly touched down over southern Goshen County, Wyoming shortly before 3 PM on May 15, 2015. The parent supercell thunderstorm moved northeast, eventually producing another tornado at 334 PM four miles east of Yoder, Wyoming. Much of the damage occurred along County Road 49 and Highway 92 south of Torrington. The tornado lifted a mile east of Torrington at 4 PM. The NWS assessment team surveyed the damage and rated the tornado an EF1. |
