TRAVEL ALERT:  Black Ice and Slick Road Conditions Being Reported Across Parts of Southeast Wyoming This Morning

 

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is reporting sections of slick roads due to black ice over several routes across southeast Wyoming early this Tuesday morning.  It is highly recommended that if you must travel, first check the latest road conditions with WYDOT by visiting www.wyoroad.info on the Internet.

When traveling across southeast Wyoming this morning, pay attention to message signs posted by WYDOT and be prepared to encounter slick sections of roadway.  As the sun starts to warm the roadways later this morning, roadways will start to dry and black ice issues should start to diminish by the afternoon hours.
