On December 16, 2020 a storm system brought a significant amount of snowfall to Central Pennsylvania and the Northeast States.
A map of the total snowfall:
We'll continue to fill in the map this morning, but here's an overview of where things stand right now. We'd love to see more reports from north-central PA between US-6, US-219, I-80, and US-15. #PAwx

This storm was along the lines of a Miller-B Nor'easter set up where a surface low came across the Ohio River Valley then redeveloped off the coast of the Carolinas. Snow began Wednesday morning quite intensely (snowfall rates of +2"/hour were observed) and continued through the night. The greatest snow fell under a band of heavy snow oriented southwest to northeast through Northeast PA and the Southern Tier of NY.
4AM Radar Update: Moderate snow continues in NE PA, but will gradually weaken and drift northeast through mid-morning. Additional accumulations of 1-3†are expected in NE PA. Use caution if you have to travel this morning - roads may remain slick! #PAwx pic.twitter.com/G5JJyj7c4z
