Coastal Storm Impacting the Mid-Atlantic; Remaining Unseasonably Warm in the Central U.S.

A coastal storm will bring widespread rain, gusty winds, shallow coastal flooding, rip currents, large surf and possible areal flooding over the Mid-Atlantic region through Wednesday. Overview

On November 27-28, 2014, a Nor’easter impacted central Pennsylvania, bringing up to a foot of snow in some locations as well as a band of snow squalls during the early morning of November 28th in south-central PA. This storm created widespread hazardous conditions as many traveled for the Thanksgiving holiday.
