Survey Summary:
A downburst moved across the northeastern portion of Liverpool
Township in Perry County on the morning of 9 July 2023. Severe
winds, estimated to peak around 85-95 mph, caused extensive damage
to a rural farming and wooded area, just shy of 0.2 miles long and
approximately 125 yards across, northwest of the intersection of
Barners Church Road and Fishing Rod Road. Dozens of trees were
uprooted and/or snapped off and areas of knee high corn were
disturbed. No structural damage was observed.

We extend thanks and gratitude to the Perry County Emergency
Management Agency for their hard work collecting and reporting storm
related damage information to us, as well as for assisting and guiding
us with our on site damage survey.
