THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS CONFIRMED A
TORNADO NEAR GOWEN CITY IN NORTHUNMBERLAND COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA ON
06-08-2015.

AN EF0 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN APPROXIMATELY TWO MILES SOUTH OF GOWEN 
CITY IN NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY. SEVERAL TREES WERE KNOCKED DOWN ON 
THE NORTH SIDE OF MAHANOY CREEK JUST EAST OF ROUTE 125.

ADDITIONAL TREE DAMAGE WAS OBSERVED NORTH OF THE TORNADO PATH 
ALONG STATE ROUTE 125...INCLUDING MULTIPLE TREES DOWN IN A 
DIVERGENT PATTERN AND TREES ON WIRES DUE TO DOWNBURST WINDS.
