MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL AND NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS
LOOKED AT THE DAMAGE IN AND NEAR KYLERTOWN TODAY.
THE TEAM VIEWED DAMAGE TO A MOBILE HOME AND TO A BUSINESS NEAR
INTERSTATE 80...AS WELL AS TREE DAMAGE NEARBY.
THE TEAM DETERMINED THAT THE DAMAGE THEY VIEWED WAS NOT DONE BY A
TORNADO...AND WAS INSTEAD DONE BY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS...SOMETIMES CALLED STRAIGHT-LINE WINDS OR DOWN BURSTS. THE
WINDS WERE ESTIMATED TO BE BETWEEN 60 AND 70 MPH.
