Severe Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Across the Central US; Wintry Mix in the Northern Plains and Northeast

Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are possible across the central U.S. through Saturday. Large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are all possible. There is an increased threat for wildfire development in the southern to central High Plains. CODE is Produced in Two Versions:

  1. National Weather Service Edition - This is the complete version of CODE. Distribution is limited to within the National Weather Service and other U.S. Government Agencies.
     
  2. Public Edition - This version of CODE is intended for public release. Certain proprietary software components have been removed to permit release outside the U.S. Government.

CODE Public Edition is free to public users. All the source code, documentation and patches can be downloaded free of charge. Please read CODE Disclaimer before you download CODE.

Note:  The latest public version of Build 24.0 CODE software can only be obtained by sending a request to michael.istok@noaa.gov with the phrase "Public CODE RPG" in the subject line and, in the body of your email, please provide your full name and optionally your business affiliation.
