Areas of Excessive Rainfall and Severe Thunderstorms; Fire Weather Concerns in the Northern Plains and Four Corners Region

Widespread showers and thunderstorms may bring areas of flash flooding across much of the Southern Plains into the Gulf Coast region and the upper Ohio River Valley into the Mid-Atlantic. A large Pacific storm will bring widespread rain, gusty winds, and mountain snow to California and the Great Basin. Fire weather concerns expected in the Northern Plains and the Four Corners region. CODE is Produced in Two Versions:

  1. National Weather Service Edition - This is the complete version of CODE. Distribution is limited to within the National Weather Service and other U.S. Government Agencies.
     
  2. Public Edition - This version of CODE is intended for public release. Certain proprietary software components have been removed to permit release outside the U.S. Government.

CODE Public Edition is free to public users. All the source code, documentation and patches can be downloaded free of charge. Please read CODE Disclaimer before you download CODE.

Note:  The latest public version of Build 24.0 CODE software can only be obtained by sending a request to michael.istok@noaa.gov with the phrase "Public CODE RPG" in the subject line and, in the body of your email, please provide your full name and optionally your business affiliation.
