Rapid Warm-Up Forecast Across Much of the Lower 48 Today and Tuesday

Most of the U.S. starts the week calm and unseasonably warm. The Heartland will be warmest, with highs 25–30° above average. Only the Gulf Coast stays chilly. Rain today is limited to western Washington while lake effect snow continues east of Lake Ontario. Cooler air returns after Tuesday, bringing a wintry mix to the Midwest and Northeast by Wednesday. CODE is Produced in Two Versions:

  1. National Weather Service Edition - This is the complete version of CODE. Distribution is limited to within the National Weather Service and other U.S. Government Agencies.
     
  2. Public Edition - This version of CODE is intended for public release. Certain proprietary software components have been removed to permit release outside the U.S. Government.

CODE Public Edition is free to public users. All the source code, documentation and patches can be downloaded free of charge. Please read CODE Disclaimer before you download CODE.

Note:  The latest public version of Build 23.0 CODE software can only be obtained by sending a request to michael.istok@noaa.gov with the phrase "Public CODE RPG" in the subject line and, in the body of your email, please provide your full name and optionally your business affiliation.
