Elevated to Critical Fire Weather Concerns and Strong Winds for the Central U.S.; Snow Across the Upper Great Lakes and Northeast

A strong clipper system will move southward across the Great Lakes and into the Northeast throughout the weekend. Strong winds are expected from the Plains through the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, with the potential for any fires that initiate to spread rapidly due to dry conditions. Snowstorm of November 25-26th, 2019

A strong storm system brought very heavy snow to portions of north central and northeast Colorado from Monday afternoon through Tuesday.  The highest amounts occurred in the northern Foothills with up to 40" of snow at Buckhorn mountain in Larimer county.  Near the base of the Foothills up to 2 feet of snow fell.  22.1" of snow fell in Boulder with a daily total amount of 20.7" which was the 3rd highest on record for any month.
