A tornado touched down along US Highway 80 east of Selma. One masonry building was partially destroyed and several other buildings were slightly damaged. Two persons injured when the building walls collapsed and one 1 person was injured by flying debris. The tornado moved east to west.

The tornado formed briefly and caused minor damage to barn and service station. The tornado path was from southwest to northeast. This tornado was observed by witnesses.

The tornado touched down just south of Bessemer and moved northward into Fairfield. The most intense damage occurred near the beginning where 3 houses were demolished. Twenty houses and numerous other buildings were also damaged. Many trees and powerlines were blown down along the damage path.

The tornado touched down about 4 miles south of Centreville and moved northward. The tornado cut a swath through timberland. The tornado damaged 2 houses and demolished several small outbuildings. Numerous trees were blown down in a forested area. One person reportedly was lifted and blown 100 yards, but was not injured.

A tornado touched down near the Alpine and Plantersville Communities. Four houses and several farm buildings were damaged along the short path.

One home was unroofed and several other homes suffered minor damage along the short path.

Numerous trees were blown down along the damage path. Several homes, barns, and outbuildings were damaged. The tornado moved from west southwest to east northeast.

The public observed a tornado touch down just north of the Fairview Community. The tornado demolished a large poultry house and killed over 3000 chickens. One porch and one garage were also blown away.
