.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS WILL
BE POSSIBLE NEAR AND WEST OF A LINE FROM JASPER TO BIRMINGHAM TO
MARION. THE OVERALL TORNADO THREAT IS LOW. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE NORTHERN TWO
THIRDS OF THE AREA...SO SOME FLOODING IS POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO BE POSSIBLE
THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON.  THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL BE
DAMAGING WINDS...WITH A LESSER THREAT OF LARGE HAIL. OVERALL TORNADO
THREAT SHOULD REMAIN LOW THROUGH THURSDAY.

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE FOR TUESDAY...

ANOTHER ROUND OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE BOTH THIS
MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON FOR AREAS BASICALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A
LINE FROM CUBA...TO CLANTON...TO ROANOKE.  THE MAIN THREATS WITH
ANY OF THESE STORMS WILL BE STRONG STRAIGHT LINE WINDS AND
MARGINALLY SEVERE HAIL.  ADDITIONALLY...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS
POSSIBLE FOR THE SAME AREA.  A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED
THROUGH 7 PM THIS EVENING.

A SQUALL LINE WILL MOVE INTO NORTHWEST ALABAMA LATE TONIGHT.  THE
SQUALL LINE WILL LIKELY BE IN A WEAKENING TREND AS IT MOVES INTO
NORTHWEST ALABAMA BETWEEN 3 AM AND 6 AM...BUT IT MAY BE STRONG ENOUGH
TO PRODUCE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS AND PERHAPS AN ISOLATED
TORNADO.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

A WEAKENING SQUALL LINE WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHWEST ALABAMA TUESDAY
MORNING.  THE SQUALL LINE COULD PRODUCE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE
WINDS...VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...AND AN ISOLATED TORNADO...MAINLY
WEST OF A MILLPORT TO DOUBLE SPRINGS LINE. THE OUTFLOW FROM THE
SQUALL LINE WILL LEAVE A BOUNDARY FOR ADDITIONAL SEVERE STORM
DEVELOPMENT DURING THE AFTERNOON.

THE STRONGEST PART OF THE STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH ON
WEDNESDAY. DISCRETE STORMS MAY DEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS...
MAINLY AFTER 2 PM WEST OF INTERSTATE 65...AND THEN TRANSITION INTO
MORE OF A SQUALL LINE THAT WILL PUSH ACROSS THE AREA IN THE EVENING

ON WEDNESDAY...THE THREAT OF TORNADOES AND DAMAGING WINDS
INCREASES.  SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG
AND LONG TRACKED TORNADOES...ARE LIKELY TO DEVELOP AND TRACK ACROSS
CENTRAL ALABAMA IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING.  THE AREA WITH THE
GREATEST TORNADO THREAT IS FROM THE CITIES OF DEMOPOLIS...CLANTON...
SYLACAUGA...AND ANNISTON...NORTHWARD. THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL

A SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK IS LIKELY TODAY FOR ALL OF CENTRAL
ALABAMA. STRONG...LONG LIVED TORNADOES...DAMAGING WINDS...AND
VERY LARGE HAIL ARE ALL POSSIBLE. THE GREATEST THREAT THROUGH NOON
WILL BE AREAS WEST OF 65 AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 20. THE THREAT
WILL THEN EXTEND ACROSS ALL OF CENTRAL ALABAMA DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE AT LEAST THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

NOW IS THE TIME TO REVIEW YOUR SEVERE WEATHER ACTION PLAN AND BE
PREPARED TO TAKE QUICK ACTION WHEN WATCHES AND WARNINGS ARE
EVENTUALLY ISSUED. THERE ARE STILL SOME TIMING ISSUES TO BE DEALT
