Crawford EF-0 Tornado (Lee County)

Event Summary

National Weather Service meteorologists surveyed damage in southeast Lee County and determined that the damage was consistent with an EF-0 tornado.

A brief tornado touched down in the Haley Woods subdivision causing minor damage to several roofs and wooden fences. Damage was confined to houses near one intersection within the neighborhood.  The tornado was 0.12 miles long and was 50 yards wide at its widest point. The tornado was rated an EF-0 with maximum winds around 80 mph.
