Last Map Update: Mon, Nov 18, 2024 at 6:40:08 pm CST

A cold front will bring widespread below freezing temperatures to the Panhandles on Wednesday morning! Light winds combined with these cooler temperatures will lead to wind chill temperatures around 5 to 10 degrees cooler than the air temperature. Be prepared for a cold start to Wednesday morning!
With a warm finish to last week, we'll start of this week on the cooler side. Most of the rain occurred overnight, but we'll still have some rain through mid-day today. As the moisture exits the Panhandles, we expect to remain dry the rest of the week. We will cool off a bit into mid-week, with the main story being the lows down around or below freezing for several days. We'll warm back up above normal for the end of the week and into the weekend.
With this last rainfall, all of the climate sites for the Panhandles have broken the monthly rainfall records for November! November is not over yet so the 2024 totals may change before the end of the month, however, precipitation is not expected for the Panhandles for at least the next 7 days.
