More Critical Fire Weather Conditions Friday.
We will see temperatures record heat for Thursday across the Panhandles. This anomalous heat could cause heat-related impacts to those susceptible to being affected by heat. Heat Risk takes into accounts such as high and low temperatures, humidity, seasonal acclimation, and longevity of heat. Given the anomalous and record breaking heat is occurring early in Spring, Heat Risk is highlighting an area of moderate (category 2/4) Heat Risk for much of the Texas Panhandle.
