Severe Weather in the Central Appalachians into the Northeast; Heavy Rain Along Portions of the Gulf Coast

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging gusts are possible across portions of the central Appalachians into the Northeast. From the northern Texas through the Mississippi Gulf Coast, heavy to excessive rain from thunderstorms could lead to flash flooding this weekend.
