A Couple of Fast Moving Storms Affecting Areas Along and East of the Rockies

A couple of storm systems will impact travel conditions through the first half of this weekend. Heavy snow from the mountains of the West will move into the upper Midwest and upper Great Lakes through tonight. Record warmth and Gulf moisture along and east of the Mississippi River will fuel severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, fog for the Tennessee Valley and deep South on Friday into Saturday. A Blizzard Warning has been issued for portions of northeastern SD and western MN from 3am until 8pm Wednesday. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the rest of our area from midnight CST/11pm MST tonight until 6pm CST/5pm MST Wednesday.
