Back-to-Back Pacific Storms to Impact the West Coast; Heavy Snow in the Central Appalachians

Back-to-back powerful Pacific storm systems to impact the Pacific Northwest and northern California through the end of this week with heavy rain, flooding, strong winds, and higher elevation mountain snow. As of September 12th, 2019, with 3.5 months yet to go, Kennebec has broken a *yearly* precipitation record with 31.38" in 2019 (30.25" in 1915). Records go back to 1893.

Sisseton, Mobridge, Pierre and Watertown also already rank in the top 10 for wettest year on record. 2019 currently ranks as the 29th wettest year in Aberdeen (42.11" in 1896).
