Dangerously cold air will be in place across the area through Monday (New Year's Day) morning. To avoid any danger involved with the extreme cold, limit your time outdoors, and cover any exposed skin. If stranded on a road, do not venture outside to seek help. Additionally, be cautious with space heaters. See the below graphics for more winter weather safety tips and information, or visit http://www.nws.noaa.gov/os/cold/during.shtml.
