Hazardous Travel Conditions Are Possible from the Winter Storm Moving from the Central Plains to the Mid-Atlantic

A major winter storm is moving from the Central Plains into the Mid-Atlantic region. Eight -14 inches of snow is forecast from northern Missouri through the Central Appalachians, with 6-12 inches of snow likely across the Mid-Atlantic states including the Washington, D.C. metro area. Both Aberdeen and Sisseton broke daily snowfall records yesterday, February 24th: Aberdeen with 4.9" (3.8" in 2001) and Sisseton with 7.4" (5.0" in 1982).
