The NOAA Weather Radio transmitter in Santa Fe is currently off the air and experiencing technical difficulties. Broadcasting on a frequency of 162.550 Megahertz...the WXJ-33 transmitter serves much of northern New Mexico...including Santa Fe, Espanola, Los Alamos, Taos, and surrounding areas.

 

Technicians are being dispatched to the transmitter, but it will likely be a few days before it can be restored. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
