Last Map Update: Thu, Dec 26, 2024 at 11:12:19 pm MST

Light snow and flurries will continue to favor the northern mountains tonight. Broken to overcast skies clear out west to east across northern and central NM.
Sky conditions will briefly clear west to east across the area before the next weak winter system brings flurries and light snow to the northern mountains late Friday. Breezy conditions will be present along and east of the central mountain chain, strengthening by Friday night.
Another weak winter weather system will bring flurries and light snow to the northern mountains. But it's the winds that are a higher concern with this system, creating hazardous crosswinds mainly thru the highlands immediately east of the central mountain chain Friday night thru Saturday morning.
