2023 New Mexico Fire Weather Overview

2023 was a much less active fire weather season compared to 2022. However, there were still some notable fires across the region. High winds and very low humidity did occur on several days however we avoided prolonged stretches of fire weather for the most part. There was a total of four large wildfires across northern and central NM of which the largest burned roughly 2,200 acres.
